Fixing problem on GORGEOUS bag!
Color: 1-rhinestone Grey
I LOVE THIS BAG!! Ordered this bag in spite of reviews stating problems. The bag is somewhat stiff but still usable! My use of it will be sporadic, so that is not a big issue, and maybe the stiffness will loosen. The rhinestones' stickiness did, however, bother me. I have ordered Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish, Invisible formula from here at Amazon. I did some research on fixing the sticky problems for rhinestones, and this was the suggestion on several sites. Carefully polish the tops of rhinestones, not getting it on any other part of the bag, and allow the nail polish or top coat to dry completely. I will return to this review and report on the success of this fix. I feel that this will do the job but will come back and report. This bag was EXACTLY the color as shown, comes in so many colors, gives a glamorous look with an sophisticated feel. HOORAY!!! Rhinestones are no longer sticky! Got the Salley Hansen, laid some plastic wrap over the purse around the rhinestones and carefully put the polish on. Let it dry overnight, and no more stickiness. Storing it in an old pillow case with a couple of little packs of dehumidifiers that come with such things as jewelry. I think that may have solved the problem. I did use when I went to a wedding and got many compliments. Hope this helps others.
