Four months after I purchased the thermometer, I have to say it is the best probe thermometer I have used. The temperature reading are accurate and the unit functions well. Very easy to use with or without the app. The display is easy to read but the app allows you to see all six temperature zones! Catch it on sale to get the best price. The probe battery only lasted six hours so I notified Typhur and they are replacing it without question! I purchased a second unit for a Christmas gift.

Got this on sale for $40. This thing is crazy good for the price, especially if you get it on sale. Battery life isn’t a huge concern anyway, but rechargeable USB-C is great. Because it’s wireless, the stick is on the thicker side. This makes it easy to clean, but also inadvisable for your thinner meats (obviously). It looks right at home stuck on my fridge by the oven and air fryer, and temps it gave me through the phone were pretty close. I connected this to my 2.4Ghz network, which I can easily monitor from my phone connected on my 5Ghz network. I think it could do better with its time estimates, but I’m physically close enough to my food when it’s nearly done cooking anyway. I tested with frozen steak straight into the air fryer. It was quite close to what I was looking for, compared to how I’d do it before without a thermometer. As someone with little to no time to cook every day, it really eases the mental burden for sure of knowing that the food’s not under- or over-done. For $40, totally worth it.

This thing is Gold Lite, and has the transmission frequency that is 10X better than Bluetooth. The App is probably same as the 4X higher priced Gold Edition, which is worth the price of admission. whose only advantage is that the sensor is good for 752F instead of 932F (yes the descriptions says good for 932F, but Lin the photo it says 752F) . The 932F is not anywhere good enough for my radiant ceramic grill, which goes up above 1300F anyway. So I saved a bunch of money and have something that does everything I need and no more. For the price, this is 5 star
