The CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 feels much lighter on my skin than most mineral formulas I’ve used. It goes on smoothly, doesn’t feel greasy, and keeps my skin feeling hydrated even when I’m outside in the summer heat. One of my favorite things about it is the tint. It blends in nicely and gives my skin a natural, healthy appearance instead of leaving a white cast. It also provides a surprisingly decent amount of coverage for a sunscreen, helping to even out my skin tone without looking like I’m wearing makeup. I also like that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy or suffocated throughout the day. It wears comfortably whether I’m gardening, at the pool, or just spending time outdoors with my family. The ingredients are gentle, and I haven’t had any issues with irritation. If you’re looking for a lightweight mineral sunscreen that provides good sun protection, a natural-looking tint, and comfortable everyday wear, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Exceptionally nice and light for older skin (with a couple of caveats)

At 75, foundation can be a real challenge, too heavy and it settles into fine lines, looking caked on, and it will make you look way older than you are! I've always leaned toward a natural finish anyway, so when I discovered this tinted moisturizer at such a great price I was super happy! For the most part, it delivers. It has a noticeable luminous finish that reads as "shiny" on my skin, and it won't do much to conceal age spots (though honestly, I'm fully aware, that's not what a tinted moisturizer is designed for.) A dab of concealer handles my brown spots and for the shine, a light dusting of mineral powder does the trick. The SPF is of course, a big bonus. If you're an active outdoors person who wants effortless, natural-looking light coverage without the weight of a foundation, this is it.
