Permatex High Temp Thread Sealant (6ml)Permatexs High Temperature Thread Sealant locks and seals threaded fittings. Resists leakage, vibration loosening, moisture, hydraulic fluids and diesel fuels. This high temperature thread sealant lubricates threads for easy assembly and disassembly. Wont shred or wear like Teflon tape. Parts may be repositioned up to 4 hours after application. Temperature range 65F to 400F ( 54C to 204C). Contains PTFE. Features Locks and seals threaded fittings

Works perfect for BMW S63 engine.
I used this to change the oil on my BMW M8 with the S63 engine. It was a perfect fit. It extended far enough onto the filter housing to be quite secure with no risk of slipping off and stripping the housing. It was snug on the housing and did not bind up due to having a loose fit. The tool feels well-built and I suspect it will outlive me given my occasional personal use. It would still probably hold up well even for daily shop use as long as it was not abused (repeatedly dropped, slammed around, etc).
