GT6 MK.2 USA ONLY HIGH BACK SEAT COVERING KIT 1969-70Early in 1968, the US authorities changed the law on seats, in that from January 1969, all new cars had to have headrests incorporated in the seat. This left manufacturers with little time to re engineer their seats, so Triumph literally welded on new tops to their current low back seats turning them into high back seats! This seat also reclines and is to the original design with perforated centre flutes as can be seen here. We can only offer this

They are a definite improvement from my original 22 year old grills but they have some clear differences in quality of the chroming, if you compare oem to these side by side the oem grills look smoother. also they don't fit great at least not on my car, albeit with a bit of nudging they fit pretty close to the originals. Overall not bad for something that is a quarter of the price of the oem part
