That said, at this age range, kids’ shoe sizing is the same for boys and girls, which is likely what the unisex label refers to. The shoes fit true to size and are well made. The craftsmanship is solid, with neatly applied seams and glue and no rough edges. The stretchy laces are permanently closed, which keeps them tidy, while the Velcro strap opens wide enough to make it easy for kids to put their feet in and take them off independently. Comfort-wise, these are a win. The inner heel has good cushioning so the shoes don’t rub or scrape the foot. The insole is flat but soft, and the toe box shape works well for most foot shapes.
