Petzl ASAP'SORBERThe ASAP'SORBER energy absorber may only be used with an ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester. It allows the user to work at a distance from the rope to protect it during certain work phases. Equipped with tear webbing inside a pouch that opens on each end, the absorber is protected from abrasion while allowing for regular inspection. Easy to put together, took about 10 minutes by myself. I laid it on the ground folded (make sure the same direction for the brackets match). The only issue I had was one screw would simply not go into one side of the connectors. Using it as a background for my home office, so it won’t be moved often, so not super concerned, not enough to take the rest of it apart to see if I could fix the issue. Looks great, creates the privacy I needed for meetings.
