I have a 3yo German Shepherd Dog (GSD) and he can be very hard on toys. On days 1 and 2 he had such fun and we laughed at his good times! Then...Day 3...cue the Jaws Music... While I was away for 10 minutes, he dismantled the ball into tiny pieces! Even so, the ball continued to light up, make sounds and entertain my GSD!! Coolest dog toy ever! Save your money—this toy is not worth it.

My Aussie loves it and he is a tough chewer as well, so it goes great with his hyper reactive personality. Durability could have been a little better, sometimes I have to take it apart and make sure it’s still in a good position because my dog will pick it up and drop it. With no cushion it did start malfunctioning at about 2 weeks. However, it does still work fine and he loves it even without the movement. Note if you put it in a sock to protect it, my dog goes dangerous and held the sock and created a slingshot lol.
