This is one of those simple things that just works exactly how you want it to. First off, it looks really nice on the counter. The antique bronze finish has a slightly warm tone that doesn’t look cheap or overly shiny, and the design is clean enough to fit in with pretty much any kitchen style. The base is heavy enough that it stays put when you tear off a sheet, so you can actually use it one-handed without it tipping or sliding around. It feels solid and well made, not flimsy at all. Size-wise, it fits a standard roll easily and still has room for larger rolls, so you’re not fighting to get a new one on. Overall, it’s sturdy, looks good, and is genuinely easy to use day to day. It’s one of those upgrades that seems small but makes your kitchen feel a little more put together.
