Essenträger BodyThis is a slight mystery. There are no markings on it. It appears to be German, but it is certainly odd compared with most other original German essentrgers. The hinge for the lid is very unusual and the loops for the shoulder straps are a little small. It does need some work and it is missing the actual aluminum food container and the closure bolts nuts. It smelled a bit “chemically” for the first few days. The smell did fade and eventually go away entirely. It also still slides off of my bed despite having the straps to hold it in place. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It’s extremely comfortable and adds a few extra inches to the height of my bed.
